The 1993 Oslo has many similarities with Geneva II

Oslo was an attempt in 1993 to establish a framework that would lead to resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict . And Geneva can pave the way for a framework that would lead to a resolution on the three years of war.

' The Oslo ' was the first face-to- face agreement between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) , and so it will be between the Assad government and the Syrian National Coalition (CNS).

The historical memory had done to the Palestinians win the media war against Israel at the Madrid Conference of 1991 that the Palestinians played a diplomatic role for the first time , gaining international recognition.

The National Coalition with all divisions of fractures and villages is still the legitimate group by the international community , including the Syrian opposition .

And in fact at all the interest to participate on the basis of the above .

Monzer Akbik , chief of staff to the president of the Coalition , said an opposition boycott of Geneva would play into the hands of the Syrian government : "The regime would like it if we do not go ," he told Reuters.
